The Craftsmanship (Kadhua Weave)

The saree is woven using the laborious Kadhua technique. Unlike standard weaving, each motif and floral pattern on the border is individually hand-woven into the fabric. This gives the patterns an embossed, embroidery-like appearance with no loose threads on the back, a hallmark of true luxury handloom.

Design Details

• Body: A vibrant Rani Pink base, often accented with subtle zari pinstripes or a clean, lustrous finish that highlights the natural sheen of the Kora silk.

• Border: The standout feature is the scalloped-style floral border. It features a rich "Jaal" of gold zari interspersed with Multicolor Meenakari floral embroidery in shades of sky blue, crimson, and violet.

• Pallu: The pallu is a masterpiece of heavy gold zari work, featuring intricate geometric or floral patterns that provide a regal finish to the drape.

• Blouse: Accompanied by a matching Rani Pink silk blouse piece, typically finished with a coordinated zari border for the sleeves.
